Hello! My name is Dirga, I am a product designer who loves to design compelling products through beautifully crafted design experiences, understanding customer needs and focusing business long term and short term goals. Before Microsoft, I spent the beginning of my career working in advertising agencies with notable brands like Volkswagen, Dairy Farmers of Canada, Miller Genuine Draft, Miller Lite.

I am a customer focused product designer for the Microsoft News brand focusing on mobile first experiences. My key responsibilities are implementing best practices for mobile interaction patterns, creating specialized features, visual design, and optimizing content consumption experiences for our customers starting in mobile devices that scales across different endpoints with a design framework and systems guide. Within Microsoft News, I lead a small product design team focusing on product differentiation stories and user experience improvements by implementing agile product customer feedback methodologies in the day-to-day operation. As a coach and a mentor for interns, my main role is share and show design best practices within their product team, and provide mentorship in design, work life balance, and beyond.
As a product designer, I collaborated with cross-functional teams to contribute to the success of Volkswagen Canada's digital tooling and marketing efforts. I implemented design thinking, created guiadance for UX/I visual library, conducted quality control within the VW ecosystem in digital and traditional advertising medium like print design.
With DDB's wide ranging clients like Dairy Farmers of Canada, Royal Canin, McDonald's, I contributed design expertise in print, art direction and production design.
Multi disciplinary designer crafting designs and art directs brand identities, visual language, consumer packaging, brand systems & guidelines, and digital/print advertising for various global brands. Worked with amazing clients like: Miller Genuine Draft, Miller Lite, Pilsner Urquell, Peroni, Grolsch, Gibson's Finest Canadian Whisky, Connect Hearing Canada & USA.
